Choose your alterego.

Which one would you like to be?

1. Batman or Bruce Wayne? (although I really think Batman is the real guy and Bruce Wayne is the alter ego on this one)
2. Superman or Clark Kent?
3. Iron Man or Tony Stark?
4. Wolverine or Logan? (I really don't know his last name)
5. Spiderman or Peter Parker?
6. The Hulk or Bruce Banner?
7. Green Lanter or Alan Ladd?

You know it's true.

I get the feeling. I really, really, do:

I hate it when I get into an argument with someone and he/she is better at expressing his/her ideas than I do. Because in the end I just sound like crap and pathetic. It's not about winning per se, but being able to tell them my side, which rarely happens, because I just fumble and fumble, all the while screaming inside my head to not fumble. AARRGH!

Oddly specific

Okay this just made me laugh really hard! I love looking at signs, but this is just awesome: very, well, ODDLY specific signs. Nothing says it better than really specific graphics, I guess. I am amused at the creativity. Of course some may be fake, but I can suspend my imagination in exchange for a few laughs!

Expectations vs Reality

Just watched 500 Days of Summer again the other day and so I thought I'd show y'all this:

I'm not good with descriptions, so let me borrow these words from a brilliant blog:

"In this particular segment, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character, Tom, goes to a party hosted by Summer (Deschanel). This is a while after they had broken up, and she invites him when they run into each other at a co-worker's wedding. In the scene, we see Tom heading out to Summer's party, but the screen is divided in half. The left side has a heading on the bottom that says, "Expectations." On the right says, "Reality." After getting along very well with Summer at the wedding, Tom thinks that maybe he'll get back together with her after that night. This is indicated by the narration at the beginning of the scene: "Tom walked to her apartment, intoxicated by the promise of the evening. He believed that this time, his expectations would align with reality.""

The 2010 Social Networking Map

  • Mood:
Sometimes I want to play a drinking game, where every time someone says "social media" we'd all down a shot. Wonder how drunk we'll get at the end of the day.

Damn You Auto Correct!

  • Mood:
One of the reasons why I haven't bought an iPhone yet is because I hate tapping on the letters to write a message. I like the feel of the keys underneath my fingers - that tactile element is important to me, so I remain a mere mortal among iPhone-wielding friends and family.

Nevertheless I always somehow get the last laugh, if only because of all the wrong messages people have sent me. It's all because of that damn auto correct, and what do you know - there's a website for it! So I guess you can go here now to commiserate. Let me point you to a few of my favourites:

Look At Their Faces

  • Mood:
These are DVD covers designed by Noma Bar. The faces tell the story, if you look closely. If you're a movie nerd you'll probably enjoy these!
